Connie Crowe is a native Houstonian who worked in the Downtown area as an executive secretary in the oil and gas industry until the “late 1980’s oil bust.” In 1988, she changed career paths and began working as a legal assistant at a law firm near the Galleria focusing on real estate, estate planning, trusts, banking, securities law, business and corporate law. Having worked in small and large firms in the surrounding Houston area, including Greenway Plaza, she then worked as a legal assistant at Wilson, Cribbs & Goren, P.C. Connie earned a paralegal certificate in June 2012. In December 2016, she fulfilled her dreams of leaving the “big city” and living in the country outside of Brazos Valley. Connie joined The Ellison Firm in September 2020 and is the legal assistant to Brian Mobley.

Alyssa Douglas Jones graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences, a minor in business, and an equine science certificate. Alyssa began her career in the legal field at Peterson Law Group in Bryan, Texas as the receptionist and soon after became the family law assistant to Kassi Horner. During her time at Peterson Law Group, Alyssa gained experience in the areas of family law, probate, corporate law, and estate planning. It was during this time that she was first introduced to the Junior League of Bryan-College Station, a women’s volunteer organization that Kassi Horner was the President of during the time they worked together. Alyssa began working for Watson Law Firm located in College Station, Texas in February of 2017. With this change, she shifted her focus from family law to probate, real estate, oil and gas, and estate planning, and filled the roles of receptionist and as the assistant to Jay Don Watson for probate and estate planning. She became a member of the Junior League of Bryan-College Station in June of 2017 and has been involved with their signature events, Stuff the Bus and Charity Ball, along with volunteering her time at the Brazos Valley Food Bank. She joined The Ellison Law Firm in May of 2021 and is the assistant to Jeffrey C. Harris.

Markie Grisham is an accomplished professional with a rich and diverse background spanning several fields. She spent 6 years as a legal administrative assistant in a law firm comprised of 3 attorneys, one of which was also a CPA, with areas of expertise in real estate, probate and public accounting. After starting a family, she opted to work from home as an entrepreneur, becoming a highly successful sales professional. Upon raising her family, Markie re-entered the workforce by joining the healthcare billing industry serving in several capacities, i.e. patient account representative and marketing manager. She was ultimately tasked with creating and managing a credentialing department for over 400 providers. Most recently, Markie worked as a closing coordinator with a local home mortgage company. She is thrilled to come full-circle by joining The Ellison Firm in February 2024 as the legal assistant to Amy Clough. 

Cynthia Hall is native to College Station and graduated from A&M Consolidated High school in 2006. She attended Blinn College, as well as Austin Community College, and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa in 2015. She obtained her North Carolina Real Estate Broker license in 2019 and Her Texas Real Estate Agent license in 2022. She has over 17 years of management experience, including both law and real estate firms in Austin and College Station.  Cynthia joined The Ellison Firm as the Business Manager in February 2023. 

Tedi Ellison joined The Ellison Firm in August of 1999 to manage the law firm.  Prior to joining the firm, she worked with athletics at Texas A&M for 15 years, as Director of Athletic Compliance from 1990-1999 and as an Athletic Academic Counselor from 1984-1989.  Tedi graduated from the University of Nebraska with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education.  She served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce in 2008-2009, and also serves on other community boards, councils, and committees. In 2011 Tedi was named B/CS Chamber Volunteer of the Year, in 2012 Tedi was inducted into the Texas A&M Lettermen’s Hall of Honor, and in 2013 Tedi was named a Jefferson Award Recipient for outstanding public service.
