Gerry M. Brown

021Gerry was born in Dallas, Texas, and graduated from Coronado High School in El Paso, Texas, in 1992.  Gerry attended Texas A&M University where he was a member of the Corps of Cadets.  Upon graduation from Texas A&M with a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 1996, he attended St. Mary’s University School of Law and was awarded his law degree in 1999.  After completing his military obligation, Gerry returned to Bryan/College Station in 2001.  Gerry was a partner with the law firm of Hayes, Murphy & Brown, LLP from 2005 to 2014 where his practice focused on real estate, estate planning, business formation, and banking law.  Gerry joined The Ellison Firm in April 2014.  Gerry is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Gerry and his wife, Dr. Monica Brown, a local dentist, have four children, Jaxson, Johnny, Jud, and Jacque.  Gerry is a past member of the Board of Directors of the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce and a graduate of Leadership Brazos.  He is also a past president of the Brazos County A&M Club, The Texas A&M Quarterback Club, and is a member of A&M Church of Christ.  In his free time, Gerry enjoys hunting, fishing, traveling, coaching his children’s youth sports teams, and scouting with his sons.
